Pilates Classes:
Pilates Mat Classes
Mat classes take place in small groups on mats on the floor and often incorporate such “props” as bands, balls, rolls and magic ring into a 1 hour routine. Mat classes focus on the development of the same core muscles that Pilates is popular for as well as increasing strength, flexibility and agility.
Reformer Classes
The Reformer is the most popular piece of Pilates equipment. The workout includes a warm-up, core strengthening, balance, classic Pilates exercises for the upper and lower body. Classes are 1 hour long and limited to 3 people.
Pilates Fundamentals
This class teaches basic movement principals upon which Pilates and other exercises build. These exercises establish torso and pelvic stability, abdominal engagement, good alignment and greater range of motion for the limbs which translates directly into better posture and graceful, efficient movement in every day life. A must if you have never tried Pilates. Classes are 5 weeks. Please see calendar for the next available class.

Yoga Classes:
Yoga
Focus is on increasing flexibility, strength and mind/body awareness. You will learn to breathe more effectively while transitioning through classical poses and stretches.
Beginning Yoga Class Series
Reduce stress, increase flexibility and feel great! We make beginning a yoga practice easy with our beginner’s series. Learn the basic yoga poses and breathing techniques. Meeting once a week for 8 weeks. See calendar for the next Beginner Yoga series.
Restorative Yoga
This class focuses on relaxing the body in restful postures. With the use of yoga props, such as belts, blocks, blankets, bolsters and chairs, the student is able to achieve the pose without using much muscular strength. This enables the student to hold poses for a greater length of time and facilitates a deep release to move the body toward balance.
